Monitoring the impact of shocks caused by mining operations, vibrations and noise caused by construction activities is an essential work, helping to ensure safety for the surrounding environment, for civil works and for people. Currently, the law has many legal documents related to the measurement and monitoring of the effects of concussions, namely:
- Regarding the measurement and supervision of the impact of tremors in blasting operations:
+ National technical regulation on safety in storage, transportation, use and destruction of industrial explosives (IEM) (QCVN 02: 2008/BCT) issued together with Decision No. 51/2008/QD -BCT of December 30, 2008 of the Minister of Industry and Trade regulating the monitoring of blasting effects (section 5 - page 62, QCVN 02: 2008/BCT);
+ Decree on IEM No. 39/2009/ND-CP, April 23, 2009 of the Prime Minister (Article 22 - Rights and obligations of organizations using IEMs prescribed);
+ Decree No. 163/2013/ND-CP dated November 13, 2013 of the Government stipulating sanctions against administrative violations in the field of chemicals, fertilizers and industrial explosives; etc.
- For the measurement and supervision of the effects of tremors and noise caused by construction activities:
+ QCVN 27: 2010/BTNMT National technical regulation on vibration
+ TCVN 7378: 2004 Regarding vibration and vibration - Vibration for works - Limitation levels and methods of evaluation.
+ TCVN 7191: 2002: Vibrations and mechanical shocks - vibrations for construction works - instructions for measuring vibration and assessing their influence on construction works.
+ QCVN 26: 2010/BTNMT: National technical regulation on noise.
Nowaday, Instantel is known as the number one brand in the research, development, production and distribution of instruments for measuring and monitoring the effects of concussions. After more than 30 years of operation, Instantel devices have been used in more than 120 countries around the world thanks to the outstanding features of the collection, processing and control software, as well as the quality and reliability of metering sensors. In Vietnam, Instantel is the most trusted and used brand with nearly 30 sets of equipment of all kinds provided.
Micromate is the latest device line and is considered the flagship device of Instantel. Micromate can not only be used for measurement and monitoring applications of blasting vibration, but can also be used for vibration and noise monitoring and construction applications in construction activities. Micromate's advantage over Instantel's previous product line is its extremely compact design, which can be said to be the smallest impact-impact monitoring device on the market today. In addition, besides the same function keys as the old model BlastMate III, Micromate is also equipped with a color touch screen, allowing users to easily observe and manipulate on the device.
Key features of Micromate:
- Fits in the palm of your hand.
- Histogram-Combo mode captures full-waveform events in parallel to Histogram recording.
- Versatile USB Port for USB memory sticks, field printer, and modem.
- Large, easy-to-read, color touch-screen display.
- Can store over 1,000 events (4,000 with optional memory)
- Trigger multiple units within 1 sample of each other.
- Synchronizes Class 1 noise monitoring or air-overpressure and vibration data on the same monitoring unit.
- Internal battery lasting up to 15 days.
- Uninterrupted monitoring with zero dead-time between events.
Micromate can connect with other auxiliary devices such as memory cards, mobile printers, modems. Micromate can also be installed as a seismic impact monitoring station.
