Features of SL-RAT®:
-The SL-RAT device is equipped with a GPS, which allows the TX unit and RX unit to communicate via radio frequency. This gives the device system the ability to classify data, register data (by location) and verify data.
- Unlike traditional CCTV inspection systems (in-pipe), SL-RAT is located in manholes, where the transmitter - TX unit - sends an acoustic pulse into the pipeline. The receiver - RX unit- carries a microphone and signal processing system that captures the audio signal and automatically interprets the congestion data. Then automatically generates a blockage rating, scoring it on a scale of 0 to 10, with a score of 10 indicating a clear pipeline and a score of 0 indicating a complete blockage.
